 WTCCF meeting notes, 4/7/2026

Attendees- Peter Tsai, Jessie Fu, Gail Du, Connie Wang 

1. Reviewed “Roles and functions” on “Constitution”-  Peter asked about how much work Gail and Connie are prepared to undertake (See separate notes to summarize our initial thoughts). 

2. World Cup - the most important event for WTCCF - requires 2 month commitment for before the event. Next one is October 2027

3. Connie and Gail - back up for each other since both will be away to their home states for a few months each year 

4. Travel to members’ countries (3 types)- full coverage, arrival coverage, local reception 

5. WTCCF Members - currently ~40+ some are inactive such as South Africa (requires 4 continents, 20+ countries) 

6. Compensation- office related expense; transportation fees; certificate of title; 3 holidays (3節）

7. Budget: 10萬? (to cover basic office operation for WTCCF. )

8. Reviewed and tweaked English version of “Push hand manual”- 4 sets as entrance form - 

5 key questions- for Push Hand manual English version 

1. Tiger mouth - kua move - original body position to add another tiger mouth to join another tiger mouth. 走胯.  Both thumbs are not parallel but more of triangular position.

2. Jia- Xuan jia- upper peng driven by the waist rotation 引化上棚 - neutralizing 

3. 撥 Bo- not “light pulsing” or flicking. Should be “gentle guide “ driven by kua 

4. Both hands - coordinate 內承接 master/coordination 

5. Glossary- copy/paste is ok 

Actions 

1.  Gail and Connie to review & revise personal profiles with Jessie (when to be done?) 

2. Gail's profile is not on the website yet (can see Connie's)

3. Gail to update changes on Push hand English manual for Peter to review (when to be done?)

4. Jessie to share Philippine travel dates in July with Connie once confirmed with the host  

5. Peter to share his travel dates for Boston with Connie

What Gail and Connie are prepared to undertake as Deputy Secretary General （or Secretary) - 

1. 外賓接待International liaisons: support international visits, seminars, Qualification course 

2. 太極/推手助教 Instruction/training support: include but not limit to push hands outreach to WTCCF current or future members 

3. 國外出行協助Support overseas trips to WTCCF member countries (lead up preparation) - including trips led by Peter, Jessie and 吳老師

4. 世界盃World Cup preparation (support Jessie) 

5. 翻譯/校對Translation work

What Gail and Connie prefer NOT to do (due to limited knowledge and background) 

1. 網站管理manage the website

2. 啟動新會員/新國家reach out to new countries

3. 重啟老會員reconnect with former members

4. 總會高層dealing with the Chairman or his proxy (meet to introduce ok)
