Chinese Edition 

I. Fixed Mechanisms (Ongoing Throughout the Year)

(1) International Secretariat Working Group Meetings

Participants:
Secretary General, Deputy Secretary General Fu, Deputy Secretary General Lin, Deputy Secretary General Du, Deputy Secretary General Jiang

Main Tasks:

  1. Draft invitation letters and registration forms
  2. Translate competition rules and event content into English
  3. Reconnect with previously participating countries that have lost contact
  4. Develop new member countries
  5. Assist in planning travel and visit itineraries (2–3 days)
  6. Track registration progress of each country
  7. Compile international meeting agendas, programs, and attendance lists
  8. Coordinate international visiting delegations and domestic reception
  9. Support administrative coordination for Vice Chairman Wu Ronghuei’s overseas visits, teaching, and promotion of designated push-hands routines
  10. Maintain regular website updates

(2) Weekly Operational Mechanisms

  1. The Secretary General or Executive Deputy Secretary General shall report to the headquarters office once per week and handle necessary matters
  2. Weekly online meeting of the International Secretariat
  3. Biweekly internal meeting between the Secretary General and Executive Deputy Secretary General / Deputy Secretaries General
  4. Quarterly (or as needed) international check-ins with member countries (Quarterly Check-in)
  5. Deputy Secretary General Lin stationed at the office to handle communication with the Ministry of Sports and urgent matters
  6. Quarterly strategic meeting with Vice Chairman Wu Ronghuei
  7. Monthly meeting between the Secretary General and Vice Chairman Wu Ronghuei (first Tuesday of each month)

(3) Ongoing International Affairs

  1. Maintain continuous contact with 49 member countries
  2. Gradually reconnect with previously participating but currently inactive countries
  3. Develop new member countries or new cooperative partners
  4. Arrange delegation visits to member countries as needed
  5. Arrange overseas teaching, attendance, and support based on invitations
  6. Support international groups visiting Taiwan for training
  7. Assist in arranging 2–3 day itineraries for visiting guests
  8. Continuously update official website content, international announcements, and English materials

II. Monthly Master Schedule

April 2026 (Initiation Month)

(1) Internal Work

  1. Launch annual planning of the International Secretariat
  2. Organize contact information of 49 member countries
  3. Identify inactive countries and prioritize follow-up
  4. Draft World Cup invitations, registration forms, and intent forms
  5. Continue English translation of competition rules
  6. Promote designated push-hands routines to member countries
  7. Draft descriptions for newly added World Cup events (forms, saber, sword, etc.)

(2) Regular Meetings

  1. Weekly online Secretariat meetings
  2. Biweekly coordination meetings
  3. Monthly meeting with Vice Chairman Wu (first Tuesday)

(3) International Affairs

  1. World Tai Chi and Qigong Day: April 24 annually; plan participation and preparation (2027: April 24). Participation in India or other countries may be scheduled as a key late-April activity
  2. Medal production planning for April 2027 (quantity, design, budget)
  3. Preliminary coordination with Santa Barbara branch, LA Lightning, and U.S. Taiwan seminars if needed

May 2026

(1) Internal and Institutional Work

  1. Review and revision of organizational constitution led by Chairman Lai, Vice Chairman Wu, and Acting Chairman/Secretary General Yu
  2. Compile revision proposals, English translation needs, and announcement procedures
  3. Budget preparation and confirmation
  4. Continue translation of World Cup rules and international meeting materials

(2) International Meetings / Visits

  1. Planned meeting with Vice Chairman from Korea
  2. Continue communication with all countries to assess support or visits needed

(3) Reception / Support

  1. Arrange reception for Belgian delegation
  2. Identify potential visiting groups for current or next year
  3. Prepare administrative support for Vice Chairman Wu’s potential visits to Switzerland, France, Japan, and China

June 2026

(1) International Check-in (Q1–Q2 Transition)

  1. Review status of international contacts
  2. Identify countries requiring visits
  3. Assess participation intentions for coach seminar, judge seminar, and World Cup
  4. Assign responsibilities for reconnecting inactive and new countries
  5. Review website updates
  6. Completion of Tai Chi research publication submissions

(2) Overseas Visit Planning (TBD)

  1. Visits to Philippines, Mauritius, South Africa, Korea, Japan
  2. Arrange representatives as needed
  3. Support Vice Chairman Wu’s Boston and Washington training, push-hands seminars, and judge certification (Levels 1–4)
  4. Assist member countries in promoting designated routines

July 2026

(1) World Cup Preparatory Documents

  1. Continue drafting English rules and invitations
  2. Compile historical participation records
  3. Prepare distribution of international regulations
  4. Consolidate online meeting discussion topics

  1. Outreach to new countries
