A、General

1. Guideline:      

Participants will become familiar with the methods and standards of coaching and judging tai chi chuan events as prescribed by the “Regulation of seminar for coaches and judges for all sports associations in R.O.C.” issued by the Republic of China Sports Federation and on the rules set by World Tai Chi Chuan Federation.

2. Objects:

The aims of the seminar are to establish standards of quality and professionalism for judges in international competition and to promote the art of Tai Chi Chuan . Standardization will help unify the judging criteria and credibility for judges in international competitions.. The seminar also serves as a pre-training program for Judge in 2023 the 8th World Cup Tai Chi Chuan Championship.

D、Participant Qualifications

     1. ROC Residents: Recommended by branches of Taiwan National Tai Chi Chuan Association and with a Tai Chi Chuan A-grade (national level) judge certificate for over one year.

     2. Foreigners: Recommended by member countries of World Tai Chi Chuan Federation.

     Up to 100 persons (subject to change)

H、Registration Fees (including seminar, certificate, food and drinks)

    1. ROC Residents and foreigners: NT$6,000 (excluding accommodations)

2. Second timers: NT$3,000 (excluding accommodations, please submit the original copy of the international judge certificate when registering)

3. Box lunch will be provided during the lecture days, a piece of Tai Chi clothing will be given, and Tai Chi night dinner will be provided on October 28. Please take care of the accommodation yourself.

4. 5,000 yuan (US$160) for the 5th-duan assessment: Those who participate in the international referee workshop and do not have the 5th-duan qualification can apply for a duan-level assessment to be promoted to the 5th-duan qualification.

 

I、Certificates to be Awarded

    1. A certificate of completion will be awarded after finishing of the seminar by National Tai Chi Chuan Association, Taiwan, R.O.C. and World Tai Chi Chuan Federation.

2. An International Judge Certificate will be awarded to those participants who complete the seminar and pass the qualification certificate test which will take place at the end of the seminar.

K、Registration Reguirements

      1. Please submit a completed registration form along with 4 one-inch visa photos.

2. ROC residents need to submit one copy of A-grade (national level) Tai Chi Chuan judge certificate. Non-resisdents need to submit a photocopy of their passport.

      3. You can register in person at National Tai Chi Chuan Association, Taiwan, R.O.C. or by post or by email. If you register by post, please attach a copy of the remittance receipt of the registration fee (ROC residents only).

      4. Please remit the registration fee to:
